An addition to a 1960's international style house located in an old traditional neighborhood in Baltimore Maryland. The addition was to accommodate a new study and master bedroom suite and was strategically placed to create a private exterior garden court around an existing tree. A fully glazed master bathroom was secluded by creating a privacy terrace bordered by brick walls and planters. The fountain provides the sounds of nature to the space when the doors are opened, providing a relaxing spa like experience.

A future pool terrace was planned as an extension of the court in the open landscape and was attached to the new master bathroom terrace.
