ROUND BAY

RESIDENCE

The existing turn of the century farmhouse overlooks Round Bay just to the south. The project consisted of adding two wings to the center hall colonial providing bookends to the central mass. The left wing provided a new family room with a second level master bedroom suite. The right wing expanded the kitchen and breakfast area with a second level child's bedroom and bath.

A first level blue stone terrace was constructed across the water side of the house to extend the interior of the house into the landscape. At the center of the terrace a second level deck was placed to provide exterior access from the bedrooms and an enclosure for a screened porch, with hidden screens, accessed by the first level hallway.
