Studio 3 is selected to design an affordable house in the spirit of the Case Study House program of the 60's.

Design a concept house that allows first time home buyers to get into the real estate market while allowing future expansion of a base 2000 sf unit for growing families or elder care. Explore the use of Attached or Detached Accessory Dwelling Units as allowed by local zoning codes to offset monthly mortgage costs. The design will employ cost effective green building materials and efficient, economical energy systems.
